Preparation for Confirmation:
In the Diocese of Arlington, the time at which young people celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation is 8th grade. To prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation, young people must be enrolled in a formal program of catechesis either through the parish religious education program, a local Catholic school, or an approved home school program.
Registration for 8th Grade Confirmation:
All 8th graders who would like to receive this sacrament in the spring of 2013 must complete a separate sacramental preparation registration process with the Religious Education Office. This registration packet will be available in October of 2012.
