Young People’s Choir and Life Teen Choir Director
Nichole Dalusung is no stranger to music ministry at All Saints. At age eight, she joined the parish Young People’s Choir, and now sixteen years later she is delighted to be the director of the same choir where it all began! Nichole also founded the Life Teen Music Ministry at All Saints, and has directed the group for the last five years. She is in her second year of teaching music grades K-8 at All Saints Catholic School, where she is also the director of the school choir. Nichole graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from George Mason University in 2007. While at GMU, Nichole enjoyed many solo/ensemble performance opportunities with the GMU Opera Theater, GMU University Singers, and Soundcheque Vocal Jazz Ensemble and traveled with the University to sing in Cologne, Germany, and Moscow, Russia. She was also involved in the Catholic Campus Ministry at GMU, where she served as Student Campus Minister for two years, and volunteered her time with the music ministry there as well. Here at All Saints, Nichole is also involved with Upper Room Theater Ministries: you may remember her as Maria in The Sound of Music or as Catherine in Pippin. In addition to performing on stage with Upper Room, she has also worked as Assistant Director, Music Director, and accompanist for various musicals and Winter Cabaret performances for the last seven years. In her “spare time” Nichole is a graduate student at George Mason University, pursuing a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and a Graduate Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship.
